Pastoral Ministry Course 2015 – 2016
If you have always wanted to deepen your understanding of your faith, develop your knowledge for your parsh ministry and learn some skills for parish, then this course may well be for you!
During Autumn 2015-Spring 2016, the diocesan accredited Course in Pastoral Ministry will be taking place in two venues. This course is an opportunity for people involved in Parish Pastoral Councils, Parish Liturgy Groups, Parish Finance Committees, Safeguarding Children Committees and other parish committees. It is for those who are involved in children’s liturgy groups, pre-sacramental preparation, RCIA and baptism teams. It is for all who are presently involved in ministry in their parish or pastoral area.
Its aim is to nurture the personal, spiritual and ministerial growth of leaders for ministry in today’s church, and to develop the confidence and competence of those involved in parish ministry, enabling them to make a greater contribution to the life of their parish and the Church.
In Listowel, the course will be take place on Wednesday nights over 10 nights in autumn 2015 and 10 nights in spring 2016.
In Iveragh Pastoral Area, the course will take place on Saturdays, four Saturdays in autumn 2015 and 4 Saturdays in spring 2016.
